Just discovered they make a crossover pipe that will fit the stock 09 and later exhaust to get rid of the flat pipe. Anyone use one with a decatted pipe?
Yep, I installed 2 for my dad and a friend. They are both running the FM 2-1-2 head pipe. You could really tell a difference in airflow too the left muffler and sound was increased also. As for performance not really sure but more air flow can't be a bad thing.
When I was buying my Jackpot slip-ons, stainless head pipe and PV, I asked FM if I should also get the pipe. Their answer was no unless I planned to do engine work to increase engine size. They said up to about 110 (I think) there is no point and no performance benefit. Some say they can tell a sound difference when it's installed but I think it's only going to be you who could tell the before and after...
