Stock 15 SG. looking at Fuel Moto's deal on stage 1 air, stainless steel head pipes, PV tuner and E series mufflers. Saw they are coming out with 2:1 with the E series. Have never had a 2:1. What are the differences? If I am staying with a stage 1 does it make sense to go with the 2:1? Looks like cost is about the same.
A 2-1 will provide a bit more low end grunt and they sound different than a 2-1-2 "X" pipe does. A good X pipe will perform almost as a 2-1 good on a stage 1 bike. I run a Fullsac X pipe a lot quieter than the 2-1that I pulled off. Call Fuel Moto, He will answer all your concerns.

Problem is, 2 into 1's start to sound like a formula 1 racer and not a Harley. Just me perhaps, but that's the what I hear...
Don't think my bike sounds anything like a formula racer. It's one of the best sounding bikes I've ever heard, and I'm constantly getting compliments on how good it sounds. Had one guy and gal wearing Harley T-shirts walk up to me and say "that thing sounds better than a Harley"! I answered, "how can it sound better than a Harley, it IS a Harley"!
