Custom Auxiliary Lighting Kit? $$$$$
Just got the new passing lamp kit for 4 and change. Am I supposed to spit another 4 for daymakers or is there a cheaper solution. New HD catalog has plenty of options, but all say, not for 14 and up touring. Also, dealer says I need the module for another 30 to keep passing lights on w/ hi-beams. Everyone I spoke with says it's just a BCM flash on 14's on up.
To keep your AUX on while high beams are on the dealer just need to go into the BCM and activate that. There is also an indicator light in the RPM gauge that you can get active in the BCM that shows you when the AUX lights are on. It take about 15 minutes to do and my dealer did it for FREE.

Instead of spending almost a grand on daymaker headlight and passing lamps go to discountfleetsupply.com and get the complete set of trucklite phase 7 led lights for $349 Have them on my 14 SGS and love them. Free shipping and will be at your door in a couple of days.
If you decide to go with the daymakers you are going to have a different shade of light compared to your dual halogen head lamp, unless you had planes to change that out also.
Just curious, what bulbs did you plane on putting in the passing lamps when you purchased them?

Dealer sold me these
Part # 68348-05 clear lens with vertical reflector optics. (looks like it matches my stock headlight but catalog says will not fit 14 or later models.) Dealer claims that is a misprint. We'll find out when I go to install them.
I got the Halogen Bulb Kit 68208-98A for the auxiliary lamps I fitted to my 2014 SGS. The only issue was that there was a mismatch between the connector inside each lamp holder and the one on the back of the lamps/bulbs. I may be wrong but I think the connector is made to receive an LED lamp not the halogen ones. It was a very easy fix as you can just chop the the connector off and join the wires with a connector of your choice. I have attached a picture showing pre amputation!

Did the box they came in, state that (except 14 or later touring models?) Cuz mine did, I got the ones right under yours in the 15 catalog. If it's only the wired plug, why don't they make anything for our application? Cuz they want you to throw the 4 benjie's for the daymakers.
Picture of the box attached. The 15 bikes were not out when I bought them in Florida last December. Have you had a look at the fitting instructions for your bulbs, they should show what the connector is like.
