Default Removing Horn Mounting Bracket?

Hello, I am thinking of removing my stock cowbell horn and put a smaller horn somewhere else on the bike out of sight. Is there any harm in removing the bracket the horn attatches to? I see it's held in place by 2 bolts that bolt into the heads. I don't want to cause any issues by removing this bracket.

I replaced mine with one from a 14 Low Rider - once you take off the CB and bracket, unscrew the rubber damper.........what's left isn't very noticeable.

Thanks for the info. Just to clarify this is the bracket I'm referring to. I think the technical term is Top Motor Mount (Horn).

OP asked for a close-up photo so here you are. Originally I had done the same thing on the Dyna I used to have and since that bracket was also the top motor mount, I hadn't given any thought to removing the bracket. Looking at it close now - I will probably remove it altogether since it serves no other purpose.

I would trim the horn support and keep the head support. Can't hurt, and may help with vibrations...

I am not one to tell someone what they should or should not do with their bike. I don't run a horn and wont remove the bracket, so I stuffed this in the hole.

Im glad to know that i'm not the only one who has considered taking the horn off. I like the clean look of it without the horn.
