Default !!HELP!! Electra Glo LED Saddlebag Lamp on '14 Limited FLHTK

Can someone with the HD Electra Glo LED Saddlebag Lamp (p/n 67800241) on their 2014 Limited (FLHTK) shoot me a picture of how you have the module and lamp wires wired under your seat? Looking for the the best way to do it. Thanks.

Default Wiring

I just installed them on my SGS this past weekend. The instructions are pretty straight forward. The load equalizer fits right in front of the battery. You may need to move things aside for it to slide in. The connectors are just laying on top of the EMC, there's plenty of room. I routed the cables along the inside of the frame and zip tied them to the existing wiring. Just be careful where you route the cables from the lights fastened to the saddle bag so they don't rub against the shocks. Hope this helps.

Yep, this helps. Thanks. Instructions are pretty good. Prior to my original post, I was able to attach the module onto the battery, hook everything up, and test the LEDs. All is working as designed... run/brake/turn. I just need to get the wires zip tied down and install the LEDs on the bags. Instructions say to install LEDs at 70-degrees or above for proper adhesion. I'm thinking if I do it inside the house I should be good temp wise. If not, I'll just button everything down from the module and wait until warmer weather to attach LEDs to bags.

It took me a couple minutes to figure how to put the control box on the battery bracket. I had to remove a small bracket or something to get it to mount on the forward of the battery. Once I saw how it went, everything went right on easily. I routed the wires first and then went back to zip tie them out of the way once the routing was right.

Those lights are awesome!!! They're very bright and greatly increases the visibility from the rear.

I couldn't put mine on the bracket like it said because there is something there I could not move. If I remember right I put it to the rear of the battery on top of something and made sure the seat didn't smash it.
I took my bags off and brought them in our garage extension for a day or two and kept the temp in the room at or above 65. It said as long as it wasn't below 50. Stuck the lights on and left the room about 65 for another day or two to adhere well.

Hmmmm I'm still back at Load Equalizer. The Canbus bikes don't use a load equalizer. I mounted the rear electraglo lights on my '14 Limited and the saddlebag side lights, The wiring was plug and play. Has something changed?? I have the ElectroGlo Side saddlebag lights on my '15 RK, still no equalizer....

Take a look at the third picture here: http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...11-67800448--1

The wiring piece not connected to the lights themselves in the picture shows the box that is being referenced on this thread. Mine had a female mount that fit on a metal tab to the front of the battery and slid down in. I remember having to 'encourage' some things out of the way to get it in but once it was, it's really solid.

Based on some comments here, I may reroute the cables going back to the bags....

HD calls that "box" on the wiring harness a "module". I just finished installing the harness and running the wires back to the bags. As was said here, I had to do some "encouraging" as well to fit and slip the module on the battery tab but once done, it fits in there nicely. Hooked LEDs up, tested, and everything checks out.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TESTING ALL FUNCTIONS (RUN/BRAKE/TURN/EMERGENCY) BEFORE TYING IT ALL DOWN AND INSTALLING LEDS ON BAGS! Don't just make sure the LEDs work, make sure your tour pak and tail light still work since those connections are impacted.

I also routed everything the way I wanted it before zip tying them down. I routed the right side under the tour pak/fender mount, basically, between the fender and upper shock mount so as not to rub. There wasn't a similar opening on the left side down behind the left cover. So I routed the left side along the same path as the OEM wire bundle running to the tour pak. Zip tied everything off and waiting to install LEDs on the bags.

I don't have the LEDs on the bags yet. Waiting to bring the bags inside the house and install in warmer temps as recommended per instructions. I'm not sure if the hard part is over for me but part of the work is done nevertheless.

Wow they did add an equalizer on the tail turn lights. That piece was not there when I mounted the ones on my '14. I got them right after they were released to the public. That's a GOOD thing they added it since when I removed my tourpak on my Limited the dash lights would go to fast flash and the four way fix did not fix that. As soon as I put the tourpak back on, the dash signal lights would flash normally. CD always said Harley needed to fix theirs, they apparently did

My dash indicator lights still flash fast and I have the module. I check on an occasional basis to make sure the lights on the saddlebags are flashing correctly. So far so good. And yes, everything works correctly when the T/P is installed. I have tried the flashers trick to no avail.

BTW, I also brought the bags in the house to install the lights as it was about 40 degrees in the garage when I did the install.
