When I purchased new bikes, I never ride with the stock pipe son. When I go to pick up the bike they will have switch my "Hookers" from my old bike to the new bike and I'm going down the road with the biggest smile......
Yeah, go for it. Maybe get a rough Dyno? Your bike probably has a generic map from the dealer? I'd venture a guess you might get more out of them with a re-do, just until you get the final?
Do it! Mines is still sitting at the dealer getting work done and I've already got headers and pipes from the previous bike on the bench. Already loaded my map from the SG and it's ready to go.
