I have to agree that RK14SGS laid out a nice route for you. Hell I might even ride that route from Columbia SC up to Smoky Mountain HD.

Thunder Tower has great service but you will pay about $40 more per service for it. *** HD in Rock Hill used to be good ut they have had turnover and they just aren't that good now. Service writers change faster than you can keep up with. Chang techs pretty quick too.

Check out Greenville Harley Davidson. Mike Mauro, service mgr is one of the best. Bought mine in NC and moved to SC before first service. I looked around and asked questions and even went into different shops to get my own opinion. There were a lot of reasons why I picked them, the best one is the respect that they show me even though I did not buy it there. They kick *** in my book.

i would get on the BRP, and take 181 off the BRP down to Morganton NC, that's a beautiful fast fun (sweeper) road. stay in morganton NC overnite, then be fresh for a run down to the Dragon.
the dragon is kinda in the middle of nowhere.
221 around that area is awesome if you love mountains & awesome views.
