Thinking about getting a custom paint job. Nothing too wild like skulls and naked chicks, just maybe some flames on a black background or something like that. What are GOOD painters charging on average for painting the tins?
Get in touch with the folks at Attitude Custom Painting in Tampa. They will give you a fair deal and the quality of their work is outstanding. They painted my last bike. Their communication and service is exceptional. If I ever paint another bike, that is the only place I will go.
Cost me about $5600 and he did all the skin take off and reassemble. Took three weeks. Was very satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to have him do any work in future. Ed Webster in Ruckersville Va.
A "few" years back, I purchased a "new in the box" set of HD Customs tins off eBay - for my Road King. Cost was $2500, and my buddy did the install and kept all the old tins..... HD does have some NICE custom tins....... Just another option for you......

I think HD's custom tins are sold out for the touring bikes. At least I KNOW the Arctic Flash is.
