Where is everyone getting this information that a tuner will void your warranty? Yes, if you install a tuner and put some crazy map on it that fries the engine, you are out of luck. If you know what you are doing and tweak things for optimal performance, there are no issues.
Hell, if you are so worried, get the Power Vision PV2 from Jamie at Fuel Moto. He will pre-install a map for your specific set up. Should you need to take it into the dealer, reflash the stock map and ride it in.-
From what I have heard..... Any turner will make you ecm and will void your warranty
Its crazy to think your going to spend the money on a stage 4 kit and then not do a tuner. The download is very limited on what it can change but you have changed major components in the motor. You need a tuner that can and will change the parameters needed to tune the bike. Spend the money on a SEPST and a dyno tune and be done with the shifty running bike and hello to the smiles.

A tuner and tune is in the very near future. I just have to find a good person to tune it. It will not be my local dealership.
Stage 4 doesn't necessarily make the bike faster. The right components, tune and rider make it faster. Rushmores are new bikes. I believe it is best to do a stage 1 and pipes and leave it alone. At the end of the factory warranty (2 years), there will be more options. At this time I will decide on further upgrades. JMO. Rise safe.
Do you know them? Have you had any work done there?
I am in Texas but Rod's has a good rep and I have seen happy customers post good comments about Rod's on the other forums I visit and I would not hesitate to use them based on who and what I have read about them; never a bad word. There is a dealer in Pelham, Heart of Dixie H-D that I have seen some good comments on but I would always prefer an independent operator over a dealer for motor work or tuning. JMHO. Give Rod's a call, chat them up and decide for yourself.
