After the latest recall my clutch is a little easer or easer to brake over and feels smother the full travel. It seems easer to feather and I actually have been able to hit neutral more times than not.
After the recall before this one or the second one it did not feel any different and seemed to have a little tricky spot before full in gauge. Maybe you will get a recall notice after this first group of bikes are completed.
I just bought a 2015 street glide special and I am having the exact same problem with the clutch. My 2012 street glide had an amazing clutch. The new ones suck.
I have a 15 Ultra Limited Low and I was doing some parking lot drills the other day and I really noticed how much stiffer the clutch pull felt. It made it harder to work the friction zone. I am not on the recall list
The stiff clutch was one major concern I had when I test rode my '14 Limited. I eventually got used to it I guess. After the previous clutch recall, which I had done a couple months ago, the clutch feels like it engages way too far out from the grip. I don't recall if it was like that before, though. Wish I could adjust that like you can with a cable.
I've only had my new Limited for a week now. Didn't really notice the clutch that much...until there was an accident and traffic backed up in the tunnel. Yep, that sucked just a bit. Never an issue with my 2010 Limited.
On a different topic, the heat management was quite a bit better than my old Limited. I run the Wards Fans and with this new Twin Cooled concept the bike ran much cooler in traffic. It stayed in the 230 range. Very pleased about that.
