Default Tour Pak Support Bracket Loose

I was trying to track down a rattle in the back of my 14 FLHTK. At first I thought it might be the latch for the tour pak because it seemed to go away when I placed my hand on the latch. Well I kept looking and found that both of the tour pak support covers were broken. They are each attached by 4 screws. It appears that the standoffs that the screws go into broke off for the 2 front screws leaving the covers attached by the rear screws. This would allow the covers to rattle. While looking to see what is required to replace the covers, I noticed that the front 2 screws that attach the tour pak support to the frame were missing. The 2 rear screws were still in place however one was no longer tight. This allowed the tour pak to rock slightly. I was getting some noise when I hit some bumps but I thought it was probably something I had floating around in the tour pak or saddlebags. Now for my question. Did anybody else have a problem with the screws for the tour pak support? The bike has 35,000 on it and maybe the potholes just got to it this year. Just an FYI - something else for you guys to check. Glad I'm not the first to loose a tour pak.

Normally I type check your bike its your @ss on the line but in this case. Check your bike its your passengers @ss on the line. It has to be lifted off even if all the bolts are out and you would prolly notice it loose but check your bolts they will loosen. It's a maintenance thing like checking the air in the tires and the shift leaver that will fall off.

Pull all 4 torx bolts and reinstall with blue loctite and torque to specifications.

I always check my tour pack, but then again, mines on a detach kit.
