Took my '14 Limited in for 15K service and had to have lots of warranty work done: 1. Had to replace compensator as it was rattling and wearing excessively; 2. Cruise Control switch would not accelerate or resume - had to replace entire switch assembly; 3. Had to have spark plug wire replaced due to excessive wearing against the fuel tank. Compile that on top of 15K service, front tire replacement and rear brake pads replaced and the bike was in the shop for quite some time, but the dealership was excellent and handled all the warranty work no problem.
check your spark plug wire, if its wearing a little notch against the tank cover, cover with with a larger size hose about 2 inches long and zip ties on either end. ELectrical tape would work also I guess. Did mine no problemo.

I've almost got 15k and the compensator rattle is ongoing. Do you know what they had to do to determine the excessive wear? Is there a specific measurement that will determine the replacement?
My oil was ok this past oil change only a small amount of metal, but the 10k oil had a lot of metal in the oil.
I'm thinking if I just tell them what I think and about the oil, they will listen to the compensator and tell me it's ok or normal and I'm tired of the ratting.

Well the Dealer replaced the compensator and the shifter linkage under warranty.
