I just installed the kit myself and the dealer is right in line with time it takes to install it. But that is for my first and only install of it. I can't imagine it taking someone who has done it several times that long to do it. I'm not sure what another poster is referring to about drilling holes for the license plate relocation bracket, as it goes on the same screws/bolts that hold the brake light on, no drilling required. However it is a pretty flimsy lightweight piece of metal. Also as mentioned, wire connectors can and will scratch the fender and moco needs to find a better way to accommodate the wiring connections.

My wife and I installed the kit in 2 hours, no special tools needed. Now that I did it, I probably would not have bought the lit. I would have bought antenna kit and aftermarket lights. Native Baggers tag relo. The kit makes it no easier to install or remove TP IMHO.
Im still searching for a comfy solo seat. Leaving the puffy seat on defeats the purpose.

I was referring to this thread - https://www.hdforums.com/forum/new-r...elocation.html

The OP says:

I have the detachable tour pak kit and a detachable sissy bar and luggage rack. When I take off the tour pak and put on the sissy bar and luggage rack, the damn license plate frame is in the f*&*ing way.
One of the responders points to his thread where he relocated the license plate below the brake light. It required drilling holes in the fender to mount it there.

So are there any other alternatives to the turn signals? Can you install the Street glide turn signals? on a 14/15 ultra?

There are multiple aftermarket LEDs you can install.

Yes, but you either have to grind the light bar or swap the fender out for a SG or older Ultra/LTD that has the dimples. I did the latter, they also work as brake light and can be flashed to work as RUN also.
