It's about time. I'm getting tired of swerving to avoid all those saddlebags laying in the middle of the road! And, don't get me started about all those damn heel/toe shifters.
Actually, I can "see" the past and current recalls for my bike, but I can't expand the "+" sign to read about the recalls. It is showing as an "Open Recall", though. Finally Moco is accepting the responsibility and hopefully it takes care of those people who lost their bags and seems like all 14 and 15 baggers are affected by this recall.
Mine showed up as an open recall and expanded to show the details. I've been worried about that for a while after reading so many. My last bike had Brukus hardware and that was solid. Maybe I'll hit the hardware store as someone said above.
I don't believe a new receptacle will make it any better. Keeping the functionality of the twisting clip pin is lame.

Unfortunately you may be correct. It would be hard for me to trust the new fasteners because I did have one fastener come loose on my one month old bike. That's all it took, one bad and they were all changed for the screw on type. I got the parts at the hardware store.
