Funny, I have never had an issue with either.

Actually, I can "see" the past and current recalls for my bike, but I can't expand the "+" sign to read about the recalls. It is showing as an "Open Recall", though. BTW, I used that link, but after entering the VIN number, the site redirects back to the H-D site and, once again, the spinning H-D logo.

Finally Moco is accepting the responsibility and hopefully it takes care of those people who lost their bags and seems like all 14 and 15 baggers are affected by this recall.

The link worked for me a couple of hours ago. The HD site did not. HD may be getting a bunch of requests and it's bogging down the system.

edit: just tried the link I mentioned again and it worked. Was able to get the recall.

Mine showed up as an open recall and expanded to show the details. I've been worried about that for a while after reading so many. My last bike had Brukus hardware and that was solid. Maybe I'll hit the hardware store as someone said above.

I don't believe a new receptacle will make it any better. Keeping the functionality of the twisting clip pin is lame.

I did and it shows the receptacle just as the recall says receptacle.

Where are you looking it up where it says "stud"????

I fixed mine, {)€kum. And I also mentioned them in the recent forum survey for the Rushmore bikes.

Unfortunately you may be correct. It would be hard for me to trust the new fasteners because I did have one fastener come loose on my one month old bike. That's all it took, one bad and they were all changed for the screw on type. I got the parts at the hardware store.
