Default Fans?

Ok....I have a question, It was 98 today on the way home and the fans never came on. How can I tell if they are working at all/correctly. Sorry if this question has been done before. It is still under warranty should I take it in and let them check it out?

Thanks for the Help

Shaun

Yes, there is a way to check it, I just can't remember how. Sorry. It has something to do with rolling the throttle or turn signals. It's been covered here in the forums.

You can also start your bike, ride it and then let it idle for a while. Have you added any tuners? I remember one thread where the PV map that he was sent from FuelMoto was for a dry bike and had turned off all the cooling features.

Turn on the ignition switch and roll the throttle to more than half and hold.Fans will come on and stay on until You shut off ignition switch.

Don't forget you are getting cooling air moving through the radiators anytime you are moving. It might take extended idling to get hot enough to trigger the fans.

It was 104 on the highway here on my way to work.

Fans didn't come on.

They don't come on until X engine temp, I never got over 217.

When mine do come on, it's usually in a San Antonio traffic jam, and then at low speeds.
