Default This might be a stoooopid question but....

I'm just curious with all the other tourin' folks out there putting in the long miles. I'm not new to riding but am fairly new to touring long distance. What do you do if you run across a flat tire in BFE?? Normally I would probably remove the object and plug er up with a tire plug, but from what i've heard, that might not be the greatest idea with MC tires. Are there any other methods out there short of removing the tire and patching or replacing?

I carry this in my saddlebag. I've had to use it and it's amazing. Like with any motorcycle tire... you plug it and fill the tire then ride to a repair shop.

When you're on the side of the road, you do whatever you can do get going... I carry a plug kit and a small compressor.... Since I have been using RideOn in my bikes, I don't have flats anymore... the stuff works awesome.... you can about drive a railroad spike through your tire and it's going to seal right back up and keep on going..........

Tire plugs, small compressor and a can of fix a flat. Doesn't matter what you use as long as it gets you going to where you can have the tire replaced.

Appreciate all the info about this. I went to the ride-on website and apparently they are "sold out" of the MC goop so I will check back later to get some.
