Default Bluetooth Question

2016 Limited, phone paired Galaxy S4 to infotainment. If I Start bike with usb in cubby with music and go to COM, then Phone and all items greyed out and says "initializing" stays that way for 10 to 15 miniutes. Then switches to say "Bluetooth" when I check , there is no phone connected. If I click Bluetooth it starts initializing again. If I have the infotainment set to am or fm when I turn the bike off it connects to the phone when I start bike next time. What am I doing wrong or should I do something different?

Thanks, I was a little unsure when I ordered it but in person it's great.

Maybe try to unpair the phone from the system and try re-pairing. Mine usually takes 5 to sometimes 15 to seconds once the system is on to sync up. Have no issues running my phone and FP3 at the same time.

My Galaxy S3 can take a couple of minutes to pair up, at times.Try Starting the bike, and after accepting the warning screen, plug in Your phone.

I don't plug my phone in, it's a usb memory stick with mp3 on it. If my bike is running and I am listening to media (mp3) and go home turn off the bike, when I start the bike again the phone will not connect. If I go somewhere on my bike and am listening to Radio FM or AM and go home turn off the bike and then next time I start the bike the phone will connect.
