I have a 2015 Ultra Classic with the passing lamps flashed to stay on with highs. The day I received my clutch recall letter I switched off the passing lamps when I ran into some fog on the home from work.
Went to turn them back on when leaving that night and the button would not stay "latched" in. The lights would just blink. I had the switch replaced under the warranty while the clutch recall was done last week.
Today I got into some heavy fog and turned off the passing lamps for the first time since having the switch replaced.
When I left tonight the switch wouldn't stay on either. I finally got them on from moving the button around while pushing it down.
Anyone else having these failures? When I had it done at the recall they said it was the 5th that week.
No, had passing lights on my SGS and moved them over to the CVO, no issues, i think you must just have another (if the first one was replaced and not a repair attempt) switch. I'd take it back in and insure they replace not repair the switch.
I bought switch kit #71400106 containing 2 switches and a wiring relay harness when I added HD LED driving lights.
One switch works fine, the relay harness works fine but one switch has been a PITA since day one. After two warranty exchanges on 1 switch, I gave up. POS made in Mexico!!
