Default Extended warranty. Worth it or not?

I have a 2014 FLHXS, Stage 1, about 9,000 miles. I am the original owner; I baby my bike and I love riding it.
The stealer has offered me a 5 year extended warranty for $3000.00; that is on top of the 2 year free warranty HD is giving me for the clutch bullshit from last year.

My question: Is $3000 worth it for a 5 year extended warranty? Or should I roll the dice? I plan on keeping my bike another 2-3 years for sure.

Lets make sure we are talking about warranty years correctly. A HD warranty for 5 years is 3 yrs after the original 2.
I, and many others, found the best warranty prices through Jim palmer at KUTTER HD in Wi. No dealers around me in Ohio could beat his price, including where I bought my triglide and WITH a Veterans discount.!!

Remember, that 2 year free warranty extension from HD is ONLY for the hydraulic clutch.

With that said, paying for an extended warranty is always a crap shoot.
You are betting your going to have issues and those issues will total more than $3,000
The warranty company is betting you won't have issues, or at least they are very minor.

In 99% of the cases, the warranty company wins.
In general, you will not come out ahead buying an extended warranty.

I have saved tens of thousands of dollars during my life by not buying extended warranties. If something goes wrong after my warranty goes out I'll just use some of that money I didn't use to buy extended warranties.

See if you can get it for less than 3000. Like 2500 or 2000. Or say you will pay 3000 for a 7 year warranty. 3000 is a lot. Is that including tire coverage

Viz, I don't know if that includes tires.
Thank you all for your responses. Sounds like I'm gonna skip it and roll the dice.
I'm still open to receiving other feedback.

Do you have health insurance? Life insurance? = its all a crap shoot - do you ever put money in a slot machine? its a crap shoot...

I bought it - 5 year extended or call it the 7 year - both are the same... my bike is covered for 7 years - cost $21xx.

I got the 15 with all the electronics BS - I also drank the 'Cool-aid' and will leave mine stock - so I do NOT fight with the ESP devil down the road. Just me

Have the extended on my CVO + tire coverage. First 1K I got a nail in the tire, ESP covered and am good to go. I like having the piece of mind of the ESP being there.

Leno if you put $50 in an account instead of an extended warranty every month for 60 months the odds are you will be $3,000 a head of the game. Extended warranties are for people who are living from pay check to pay check with out any wiggle room.

The dealers make out on an extended warranty they sell you.
If it was a good deal for you and not the dealer they would not push it when they sell a new bike.
