I've pretty much given up on my Boom system. However, if memory serves me correctly, aren't there "low-medium-high" settings for the AVC? Perhaps increasing the setting will give more noticeable results.
Weird. AVC did not work so well with stock 4.3 Boom from the factory on my 2014 SG. It kinda worked but not as good as I would have wanted. Upgraded to Stage 1 speakers and amp. Dealer blamed the bad install with a bad download so it fried one of my speakers. Didn't work at all after the first radio download update (1.19.1). Took it back to the dealer and they replaced my speaker and they did the update again and now it works well. Now, I don't feel the need to manually turn down the volume when stopping at a light. I have AVC set to max (4 bars). Strange how we are having varying issues with this. Makes me believe it has to do with the software downloads and/or configuration the tech performs?

My AVC worked. It noticeably varied volume with speed (coming to stop). Then I upgraded to Stage I, amp and speakers, and the AVC no longer worked. This was with 1.18.?, prior to 1.19.1.1. My deduction is it was the dealer download that screwed it up, i.e., the one they did for Stage 1.
Since you had them redo yours, and now it works...I'm going to ask to have them redownload mine with their stuff. Worth a shot. Thanks...

They should do it at no charge since it's not working. One of the benefits with staying with the Boom upgrade and not going with aftermarket?
My avc never worked since new. I've tried several different software versions and no change to that. Then I did a reset or reboot to the radio and downloaded 1.19.0. Now the avc works. I set it on 4 and the music dims when I stop. Not as smooth as a car system but it at least functions. I found the reset process on here somewhere.
I've got the same problem with not only the AVC but the fader is all screwed up. I can't move the fader at all. The biggest problem beyond that is that when I take it to the dealer to connect DT to the bike, it shows "comms with amp 1 lost". I have the Stage 1 boom and 1.19.2 FW update and we are puzzled as to what the deal is. The bike is at the shop right now getting a new amp under warranty (among other things). Also, I'm not sure if those with an amp have this, but whenever I turn the ignition on on the bike, the stereo "clips" twice. Hard to describe, but there is a definite noise coming through the speakers for a second. Getting tired of the gremlins!

I need to figure out this reset process? I thought it could only be done by the dealer??
