I wouldn't worry too much about it. They'll get it figured out and fixed eventually - say, within about the next 25 years or so - then they'll go to a spiffy NEW AND IMPROVED system, which won't work either!
Everything about the systeym sucks. One of the reasons I went to a Touring was to have music, glad I went with the Custom and not the Special.
The rest of the RG has been great though.
