My '15 Limited is hands-down the best scooter I've ever owned, regardless of brand. No regrets whatsoever! Don't even mind makin' the payments every month - and that's a first for me!!
I, personally, don't have any use for most of the electronic gizmos and features in the "infotainment system", but if you're into that, they're there when/if you want 'em. According to what I've seen on this & other forums, most of the original system's bugs & glitches have been identified and fixed with the latest updates.
As for mechanical reliability and durability, ride quality, power, handling etc. I couldn't be happier.
I have been riding everything from dirt to drag since I was 9 years old, Im 43 now. Hands down my 15 limited has been the best bike I have owned and by far one of the easiest to maintain myself. A new Cadillac trumps all but the really old Cadillacs.
I moved from a highly modified 09 Road King to a 15 Road Glide Ultra. I made up my mind a couple of years ago but HD stopped production of the Road Glide. In 2015 the Road Glide reemerged but not in the configuration I wanted. Nope, could not justify the CVO.
When the Road Glide Ultra came out I set up a test ride for the wife and myself and that was pretty much the end of the story. While making the deal on the the bike the wife was so excited she just kept saying just buy, I want it.
The only issue I had with the bike was the seat and I knew it during the test ride. The seat was not going the work for me.
The dealer wanted to make the trade wright away but I wanted chrome lowers and black cowbells installed before I took the bike. This also gave me some time to take some items off my bike that I wanted to transfer to the new bike. One of which was the seat.
I took ownership of the bike and got it home and replaced the seat with the hammock seat I pulled from the Road King. Put my 1 plus 1 floor board re locators on and the Highway peg all of which were robbed for the Road King.
The seat made all the difference in the world. The bike is now a perfect fit, even the handle bars feel like the are where they need to be.
My old Road King always felt like it was straining a little to maintain 80 mph on the hwy. The Road Glide Ultra Has to be held back, It seems to hit it's stride at about 93 mph and is very happy there. I constantly have to use the cruise control to keep her within the limits.
The down side to the Road Glide Ultra is it really doesn't need anything!! all the mods I had done to The Road King just don't apply to this bike.
The term Sport Turing fits this bike to a Tee. If you think it the bike does it.
My first HD was a Dyna Fat Bob. Was ok, but I always had the feeling of doing a step forward for more... and a Softail Breakout came. Was better - the 103cc cames out masterly- but after three years I discovered that I needed things like bags, fluffy seat, a more comfy way to ride and get around, specially for my wife, and a'15 SGS went into my garage. I never thought it could be so amazing, so now I have the sensation that it had to be the fist and the only one.
After obvious changes as pipes, filter, backrest, 10"windshield, etc, now is absolutely perfect for my spectation...
If I had to put something in discussion, regarding what it normally happens with the owners of a SGS, is that once we get the SGS, we spent a lot of money in purchasing gadgets as low fairings, tour pack, etc... just to turn about the SGS in something similar to an ULTRA!.. Much more expensive than do it the other way around! In fact, I'm not totally sure if I should have to... Just taking a few things off and would have been better off.

My 2010 limited is paid off. I just sold my 04 road king because I had no where to put it. I had a 03 sporty 1200c a gold wing, a few yamaha bikes as well as a suzuki. I put a lot of money into the limited and tricked it out to what I like in cosmetics, audio and motor. IT has ABS, which I love, so the question of buying a +14 is a no. I don't want to start all over again with mods and really love the limited I have created and now own. I guess being only to able to ride when I am back in the states makes me appreciate it more when I am home. Hope you make the call f your buying
