Default Anyone Hitting Neutral Instead of 2nd Gear?

2014 SG just recently started slipping into neutral when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. Happened several times now. Linkage adjustment? Fluid?

I have a couple times, never really gave it much thought TBH. Fluid levels are ok (formula+).

Ditto, check levels and I would check clutch adjustment before messing with the linkage.

Hydraulic clutch, so no clutch adjustment.

If you still have the heel shifter on make sure that you haven't adjusted it to low or that it hasn't slipped downward. I adjusted my down a bit for comfort and after awhile it was hitting the floorboard sometimes and not letting the bike shift properly. had to readjust upward and problem gone.

Too soft on the heel. I do it occasionally and it is operator error when I do.

Grease the shifter shaft (front of primary) when you get a chance.

Sometimes it's that little bit of resistance that causes this.

In my case, you must be kidding. I have a cabled clutch lever and it is nearly impossible to get mine into neutral once the bike is warmed up. My best chance is when coasting to a stop. Once I have stopped, you can forget it.
