Intercom question
Hey all,
Been searching and cannot seem to find my answer. I have a 2015 Limited Low. When I am plugged in, I can hear the radio and have sent and received on the CB no problem.
Now, when my wife is connected, engine running but we are not moving, intercom is clear and she can hear the music.
Once we started moving, she said the sound of the music and the intercom was muffled. Again, when we are not moving clear.
We have the J & M mic and speakers. I was thinking maybe the lower cord or even both might need to be replaced, not sure.
Any ideas? Thank you all.

You may need to adjust your VOX setting. Next time you and the wife are going for a ride, Turn on the intercom, if you lift or lower the PTT button you should see your VOX setting. I run mine in the middle setting, seems to work fine. Good luck.

I had that happen to me. I turned off the intercom and it continued to work, did not turn off. Turned it (CB & Intercom) off and on several times then everything started working and sounding normal again. Has not done it since.

we also have the 15 and this was our first time with the HD headsets - for me - learning curve, lol - found out IF the VOX is activated - radio music can NOT be lowered,, took some time but finally got it... good luck,, like most computer issues - once you learn the button, switch or what ever - its easy - till then PIA, lol

I assume when moving, the wind noise is being picked up. As others have said, a VOX sensitivity adjustment should do it (ie wont pick up wind noise).
