Default Stupid Windshield Question...

Does the windshield still have three little washers that fall out if you pull the screws all the way out? My '11 FLHTC had those devil-blessed, G-d forsaken, evil, washers.

Anyone know of a 'quick replacement' setup? I've got 3 different ones (have not tried swapping any yet) and if it is as much of a PITA as on my 11, I'll swap to the tall one, and never change again...

Nothing falls out these days, changed mine loads of times without any problems.

I guess "don't rush it" probably helps!!

Washers falling out doesn't sound right. My '07 Ultra didn't have any loose washers and neither does my '14 Limited. Maybe someone tried to install some kind of spacers on your '11????

There were spacers, or washers, or little doohickeys that if you removed the screws completely would fall into the fairing... I was the only owner.. 12 miles on it when I bought it...

the washers are used as a spacer when you use one of those windshield bags.
