Am I the only one that thinks the sound system. Well it sounds fantastic when your going pretty slow or stopped. But at speed mine sounds like--well like Sh*T. It seems that it is getting louder and softer or like you only get certain parts of the song, like maybe all trebble or sometimes bass, that gets louder at speeds. It is almost like the sound is buffeting, for lack of a better term. I am trying to figure out if I have a problem or is this the way a Road Glide faring makes it sound because your so far away from the front speakers?
This is the only thing about this bike that has me scratching my head. Anybody?

This is a problem the system has you are not alone! If you google "Harley Infotainment 6.5" and have a little time the info is endless. The audio section here has a lot to offer also. Good luck on your quest and may many dollars be with you.

I'm with you man on that one. My plan on spending money on mine didn't include stereo upgrades right off the bat. I figured buying the special was the upgrade .

oh it sucks, and it's even worse when you hear some of the setups that can be had for around $400 and that's everything. I had a setup that I could hear over my D&D Fat Cat at 80mph wearing a full face helmet!
Come on over to the Audio section, some guys there that can give you advise and make you a happy camper
I have read a lot of threads about the sound system - I have to say, I don't have a problem hearing mine at any speed?
Curious - are you talking about the radio or music from your MP3? All of my songs are on a flash drive - and before loading them, I used a MP3 gain to make sure all of them had the same characteristics.
I could then increase the gain and level the play on the songs across the drive. This way, some songs don't play louder than other and you have a consistant sound.
