I want to buy this for my 2011 deluxe and it should work, but my question is does it just plug n play or do I need the extra adapter to download the mileage data then hook it up where the existing speedo sits?
Sorry if I sent this twice but how does it look to the exam? Is it through a supplied adapter and then plugged into old speedo harness or does it strictly need to just be plugged into speedo harness and it captures the mileage info?
I ended up using my original speedo and replaced the center disc with my ignition switch. Since I didn't want to cut the original wire hareness, I ordered the connector from the ignition switch to the bike harness (2 wire) and made my own jumper and plugged it in. As far as the speedo, I would have to order a new speedo that would marry to my BCM after 31 miles or 100 km so I just used mine. I really love the new dash, gives it a different look for sure.
