I have V&H fishtails II,With removable baffles. The cat in this new ride really seams to tame down the bark that I had on my old ride. (Kept my fishies and put them on my 15)
Just wondering if pulling the baffles will me some more bark, and also wonder if there is any draw backs to removing them.
i'm doing a set of stock headers with the cat removed this winter. It should give you a little more bark for sure. I'm having my dealer do up a set of take-offs that they had kicking around for me so that I can keep my stock ones. The down side is the tune. You'll need a stage one flash at the very least, but most people on here will tell you that you need a tuner. I will agree that a tuner is better, but I'm sticking with my stage one flash. I have a thread going on here about it right now.
You can buy stock ones with cat removed for cheap on ebay. I would have gotten them there myself, but the Canadian dollar took a nasty dive, but should be a great deal for you.
