It might be worth it to try the Short Slash Up/Down Tips (Part number 65100062). Mine is de-catted and the Street Cannons got louder with age. I switched from the long Slash Up/Down Tips to the short ones and it made all the difference in the world. Brought back the low rumble and the bark when I hit the throttle, with no issues at 80 MPH listening to the radio.
There was a thread about this subject before Christmas where somebody experimented with ways to take care of this problem. The consensus was the Short Tips were the way to go. I switched and I'm happy
