static in fairing speakers

Listen to this. In my truck I had a front left speaker blow then a few weeks later the rear blew. I test in my own way by turning fade and balance to see which speaker was giving trouble. I never got around to changing them. On my bike 15 FLHTK I had speaker problems at mid to higher volume. I'm thinking just my luck. Then one day in my truck I changed channels from my favorite station to another and my speakers started working again. So I test again with fade and balance then switching stations in the process and the speakers would only go out on this certain station. So I go do the same test on the bike and it is the radio station causing all my problems. This problem lasted about 3 months before it cleared up. Was something with the station. Never had this happen before.
Also I found on the bike I have to keep the bass around 1/3 or it sounds distorted at half volume when on bike speakers and I can raise the bass when on helmet speakers.
