I purchased a 9" Medium Tint windshield from John at Freedom Shields. John was very helpful and helped make a decision on which one to get. We talked for 20 minutes and as a result I decided to order the 9" Medium Tint one. What a difference compared to the OEM. The air flow is now directed over my helmet creating a more comfortable rider area. The quality and craftsmanship us excellent.
I would highly recommend Freedom Shuekds if ur thinking of purchasing a new windshield. I'm 5' 10" tall and the 9" allows me to see over it and still gives great wind protection.
I put on a 10" dark Freedom Shield and yes the finish is excellent. I was concerned about a dark tint at night but the stock LEDs ('14 FLHTK) help big time. Sits just a bit taller than stock, John knew exactly what I needed, very helpful. The medium looks good as well.
Yes...... He was next on my list if the Windvest I ordered didn't pan out but it did. Have read nothing but good reports about Freedom. Nice color on that Streetglide Btw.
