Formula+, what is it??
It looks and smells like straight-mineral, non-detergent aircraft engine oil to me.
Whatever it is, I just tried it for the first time in my primary after years of using Redline in all of my H-D's, and I have to say it eliminated all sounds coming from the primary on my bike. It was really quiet before, but now it's totally silent.
I've used Redline for years and have no complaints, but I'm a Formula+ convert & fan now!

Some people will knock this low additive oil because its low in additives what they do not know is that is because it is not run in an engine. Meaning, no combustion, less additives and more of what counts, OIL.
Its a great oil for the bike, bar none! Its been tested, time tested, and tested again by the public and by Harley Davidison.
Is it cheap? no and either is any of the other stuff with wild claims, wild marketing and well meaning comments by people who know not what they are saying, as good as their intentions are.
Gosh, the stuff only needs changing every 10 to 20 K. I personally change sooner.
I have nothing against what anyone uses, let me make that clear. But for others to say "drinking the cool aid" is retarded when they drink the "cool aid" of other products and believe the marketing of those other products, sometimes for the wrong reason, like, clunk and shifting and sound.
Bottom line, its oil, a good oil that will do its intended job and has been proven in 100s of thousands of bikes, not just the marketing of aftermarket companies looking to sell you their product instead. Again, not for or against, but I use Primary+ in the transmission and primary.
However I do use a different engine oil, yet one that meets Harleys requirement for a diesel rated oil
