Just heard back from the dealer. They are saying it is a bad antenna. That's odd considering I have had zero reception issues. Not saying it isn't true, just odd is all.

I would have to agree. My guess would be solder joint, board or the slot where the module plugs into.
Antenna is the cheapest and easiest to try first. I use that trouble diagnosing system as well though. Start with the cheapest, easiest and move on from there.
The dealer installed an 'upgraded' antenna. Tech services told them that in some cases when reception is lost, the module will disappear then come back. I was told the 'upgraded' antenna is larger than the original. I also noticed they updated the infotainment software. I was only one rev behind. I have my doubts that this is the 'solution', but I also understand that the dealer has to go through the steps as directed by tech services, similar to how we have to reboot our cable box when the remote quits working just to get past Time Warner Cable's first line of support, roflmao!!!
Should get a good test performed next weekend for my 3 day out-of-towner. While I have my doubts, I am truly hoping this is all it is.
