A friend was told by a dealer that the "low" models were being dropped from the 2017 touring lineup.
Can anyone confirm this?
I can confirm that H-D doesn't tell their dealers what is coming until the dealer show in July. I can also confirm that some dealers will tell a person just about anything to sell them a new motorcycle.

My dealer said the fat boy lo is being dropped, didn't mention the touring lows.
Yep i was told the same thing. Fatboy Lo is gone. Basically the Fatboy S took its place. And they have the Chromed out version already in the standard Fatboy. Other bikes are gone as well.
My local dealer has been saying the V-Rod would be gone for the last three years LOL! And they knew nothing about the new Roadster until it went public. I'm convinced that don't know any more than we do until the dealer show. Everything else is just speculation.

That's more like it, ".... you'd better buy this '16 low 'cause they're dropping it next year." Think I'd pass on that dealer.
Discontinued bikes are told to the dealers early, the MOCO has been doing this for several years. New bike/changes to current bikes info is not released until the dealer meetings.
