Default ABS upper brake line install

Putting apes on a '16 FLHX with ABS requiring upper brake line change from the master to the ABS module. Am aware of not turning on ignition when bleeding, etc. so as to not cycle the module. As the routing of the line to the module is as it is, you have to start there and install it and work your way up to the master cylinder. That said, for anyone that has done this, has there been any issues with installing the new dry line at the module and then up to the master cylinder, hooking it all up and then bleeding it out the calipers? Doing it this way would send all the air from the dry line through the module. I read someone on here had hooked the line up at the master cylinder and placed the other end of the line in a jar of brake fluid and pumped fluid through the line prior to hooking it up to the module. As stated, with the routing that would seem to be a PITA. What have others done? I told him he should have it put on the DT afterwards anyway for insurance, but I'm trying to get it as best as possible.

Get a large syringe from tractor supply and some flexible clear hose.

Open your master cylinder and use the syringe to suck out the fluid and then replace the line.

Fill the syringe with fresh brake fluid and attach it to your left or right side brake caliper bleed screw using the clear hose or what have you.

Crack the bleed screw and push fluid in until your master cylinder up top is filled.

Then turn around and bleed the bike as normal if you wish.

This way no air even passes through the ABS module.

Hope this helps. You've helped so many... thanks Dawg.

What about bleeding the upper and lower brake lines with abs ?
I replaced all my lines with stainless branded ones, I was planning on using a mityvac.
