Default GPS on 2016
How do I stop a route once it is in progress? I even deleted the route, (Had to delete all previous) It kept going. I had 80 miles to go and it kept telling me to U-turn. I finally set it to "Home" and this over wrote the previous. I just wanted it to stop.

I believe if you hit the gps menu the 3 line icon on right side of screen it will give you an option to cancel current route

I had the same problem. Breal is correct. A little learning curve on the thing!!!

Thank god for 30 miles i listened to that thing telling me to turn left!

You can shut off "voice" prompts too.

Push the talk button and just say 'Cancel route guidance"...

But in all honesty, you should know how to turn ANYTHING OFF before you turn it on...think about it for a second...

Thanks to all!! I'll try it. Not the "watch this thing" I've finally outgrown that! And Yes I've wondered "How did I turn that on?"
I don't use the Mic so I have no clue about the voice command! And the Voice prompt still interrupts the radio!
