Well
Just picked up the new addition. Will post pics later. but now its time to get use to it. 2016 BQ Limited, leaving stock for now, but It rides sure nice. I found out after a while, its not easy to throw around. Only had a chance to take a short test ride due to weather. But now that I own one, have to put the time in. Anyone else felt as new as I do, when they moved up.
I've noticed My red Ultra is Heavier than My Road King that was Black. Most of the weight is Higher, especially backing up with the Girlfriend on the back.
I didn't mean because it was blk its any heavier.LOL. I feel like a new rider again. I enjoy the toe/heel shifter though. Took me a short time, to never do without it again. That clunk, clunk the first time was what the hell. I maybe wrong but its the clutch compensator ?

If you're referring to the clank/bang noise when going into first from neutral, that's caused by the primary chain auto-tensioner over tightening the chain and binding the clutch freewheel bearing.
The permanent cure for this and other primary case noises, and also the difficulty of finding neutral when stopped, is the installation of a manual chain tensioner in the primary.
I installed one in my '15 Limited the day I bought it - problem solved!

I don't know what you were riding before, but I went from a 2010 Limited to a 2014 Limited. I found the 14 had a quicker feel when tossing it about compared to the 2010, (I won't mention how bad the 97 FLHTC was....lol).
One thing I don't care about is how stiff the suspension is, only when the wife is on the back and the shocks are at 50 psi does the ride smoothen out. Solo I run anywhere from 15 to 25 psi. Upgrades to the front and rear suspension is on the wish list, but I'm presently using a police seat with shock over coil suspension, that takes out most of the jarring.
You'll get accustomed to the bulk of the bike, my advice is to spend time in parking lots doing cone maneuvers or treat the parking lines as intersections practicing slow speed, stops, starts and tight turns from a stop. I practice at least one night a week and have been riding HD's since 1987, I average 25~30,000 Kms per year.
