Looking for a little info. How hard/easy is it to change to CD turn signals, tail lights/turn signals and tri bar fender tip light on a 2015 RGS.
Parts I will be using are: 2040-1077,2040-1559,2060--0271 and 69304-02.
Would like to save some $ if it's doable for a non mechanic as myself.
Any help or info would be appreciated
Thanks
Lefty
Turn Signals were a breeze, front fender tip was a little tricky, only for the reason to ensure you had a long enough pig tail to tap into. As for the other lights I don't know yet. Looking to do those myself.
I went with the Harley's Tri Bar rear fender light with Run & Brake light, it's simple to change.
I went with Custom Dynamics LED turn signals front & rear also simple to change.
I also installed Harley's Electra Glo Saddlebag Run/Brake/Turn Lamps on my saddlebags,
that was a bit more work. It's all doable in your garage with common hand tools.
Read all instructions if they come with the products you buy, if they have them.
I just went all in with Custom Dynamic turn signals, LED brake light, strobe modulater and the fillerz on my 16 Road King. I changed the huge rear turn signal bar to a street glide bar setup. Turn signals were easy but I did have to rewire the front turn signals on my Road King only because I changed from the lolly pop signals to the bullet style. You won't have this issue on the Road Glide. Very happy with these LED lights. The fillerz are insanely bright! Install was very easy and instructions are great.
Custom Dynamics front fender tip in white was the most ridiculous waste of a 100 dollar bill I ever lost. Cheap piece of plastic with chrome plastic coating and white LED's in it. That being said, I just had to have it to match my white driving/Amber turn lights and love the way it looks! Would do it again if I had to, just wish it didn't feel so cheap, lol.

Fender tip lights on my 2015 Ultra Ltd were already LED's - no need to change. The front turn signals are very easy to replace. I also installed the CD Filerz on the rear, they're a bit more involved but the customer service is very good and the one question I had was answered very fast and accurately. And man are they bright! I noticed when I did a round a trip to dallas and back that folks were staying back 100+ yards . . . oh and the tail light was a breeze . . . very easy.
One note. LED turn signals use less power than normal light bulbs. The lower power drain will trick the BCM into thinking you have a bulb burned out and it will flash more rapidly. If you turn on your emergency flashers for a minute or so, the BCM will "learn" and accept the new lower power drain as "normal".
