Default Best wind management solution for passenger?

So I myself, as the rider, am quite happy with the stock 13.5" windshield on my '16 RGU. It could be slightly higher as it sits quite a bit below my line of sight. But my main concern is my passenger. She is not exactly tall but does sit a bit higher than me when it comes to the head/helmet. Apparently the wind collects behind me and makes it rather uncomfortable for her beyond some 65 mph. And yes, we do ride on the Freeway for them longer trips and I would really like to go faster than 75 mph where possible. So it is relevant.

I've read about madstad and LRS. I'm now wondering what size would make a difference for her? Would 14.5" already make a difference? Does anybody have some experience here? Because 16" would probably be too high from my point of view (literally). Then again, if 14.5" wouldn't make a difference for the passenger compared to the stock 13.5" then I can also just let it be and save the money...

Any input much appreciated.

Had Madstad on my 07 RG. Great wind protection, but you are not stuck looking thru it. Very adjustable!!

Thanks guys. But this unfortunately doesn't help me. My 13.5" stock windshield really is good enough as far as I'm concerned as a rider. I'm looking for input relating to the passenger. I have no way, at this point, to test another windshield with my passenger present and I can't just order let's say a madstad as I don't live in the US.

The Madstad adjusts both up and down AND angle (slope). They also have four different windshield heights: 11", 13", 14.5", and 16".

Not difficult at all to throw the wind above your passenger's helmet.

I had a 10" Harley shield on my bike, it worked ok for me and my passenger. I did a little research and decided on a 10" LRS ultra elite. It has a slight curve at the top which takes the wind up another 2" above the shield which also helps the passenger with less wind. I'm also 5'8 and the girl friend is 5'2. She was very impressed with the lack of wind in her face. I hope this helps, Good Luck.

Most dealerships have demo shields just takes a sec to put on and you and she can try them out

Is that the "Fresher" or the "Stingray"? Assuming those are also the ones fitting your bike.
Based on your feedback I guess since I have a 13.5" shield I could go with a 14.5" or so one as that would, with the curve, make a significant difference as per your statement.

Re the dealer having demos: I guess I'll have to try that too!

I have a 13" LRS Thresher and my passenger rode all day today up to 90mph with her shield up on her FF without issue. I ride with a 1/2 helmet and regular prescription sunglasses and at 90 i was fine. At speed limits its awesome. I see way above the shield and bugs hit the very top of my helmet. I have the stock seat and 6"0 and some change. LRS has a 60% off sale this weekend. I don't know how they can sell such a high quality product for so cheap. I'm glad they do.

Madstad will ship anywhere, and it will solve any issues your passenger has.
