I was wondering if anyone has tried to go with a slightly larger size front tire for their SGS. Stock size is 130/60-19 and I would like to go with something that gives me a larger then the 60 profile, possibly a 140/70? Just looking for thoughts. Thanks

A 140/70-19 tire would be more than "slightly larger".
130/60-19 = approx. 25.14" OD
140/70-19 = approx. 26.72" OD
Not pertinent to your post, but I never liked the switch to the larger rim and smaller profile tire years ago. I prefer the larger tires on the !6 inch rims. Obviously I'm in the minority. Lucky for me they still offer the laced wheel option on the Road King that still uses the 16.
You could probably put on the same rim/tire that the Road King uses, but then the front and rear wheels won't match -- unless you put -both- rims from the RK on ...
Just not a big fan of the lower profile tire. I've already bent 1 rim on a pot hole that wasn't deep at all. Tire pressure was good! If I had a larger profile tire on it, this wouldn't of happened. But as I found out I don't have a very big selection of the stock tire size either. Commander 2's are at a limited quantity. Maybe a rim swap out will happen in the future. But for now it is what it is. I wish they would of stayed with a beefier tire then trying to give the bike a sportier look. I'd rather have function over style.
