2016 sgs prices?
What's a good deal on a vivid black sgs? My local dealer is at 24050 with lifetime inspections and a 1,000 mile service otd. Doesn't seem all that great with the 2017's around the corner

A little over a year ago, I bought a RGS for about $300 over what seedealercost.com said was the invoice price. Add to that freight, the bs dealer fee ($700!), tax & registration. The website currently lists a 2016 SGS invoice at $18559. Add the freight and you're up to about a $19k cost. Offer them $19500++++. I don't know what your tax and registration fees are in PA, but I'm guessing that would land you somewhere around $21500+/- OTD. If they won't go along with that now, wait another month, or come to Florida and buy one. BTW, get your 1k check up done right at an Indy and the "free" inspections aren't worth a dime. They're just a way to get you back in to the service dept and they will always find something you'll need to have done.

Thats not a great deal. Just grabbed a 2016 road glide special, every dealer I visited assured me "thats the best price you will find" etc. Ended up scoring the deal almost $2k less that that best price. Dont be afraid to visit ALL the dealers in your area, basically pit one low price against another. Daytona fat boy hit it, $21500 OTD is a very good deal, and considering 2017's just around the corner, the deals are happening. IF you are ready to buy, don't hesitate to lowball.

Ive gotten emails lately from my regional HD Dealers offering 0% down & 1.99% financing on multiple touring models. To me that suggests that Sales are slower than normal and/or there are big changes coming for 2017.
Usually, if one waits until the 17's are on the floor to buy a '16....that's about the best price on a new one...or go back & buy a slightly used '15.
