I'd put in at least 3-4,000 miles before making a final decision....
My question is,,, how can you "Fix something" before you have the problem? It simply may be the way they ride, the way the bike is loaded, etc... experience means a ton.
The 09 and up are the best handling frames HD has ever had.. I LOVED my 2010 Street Glide, ground both floor boards off while keeping the tires firmly planted in corners,,, my 15 RGS is the same way.... (Not so bad on the boards yet, but the SG had 49,ooo miles, RG only 8,000
My 07 SG didn't have a wobble & neither does my 14 SGS. I've heard about this for years but never experienced it.
When I owned my bike shop years ago, occasionally someone would come in & talk about it but after checking out their bikes, I found loose neck bearings & often wire wheels with loose spokes or bad wheel bearings, etc. After all the loose parts were tightened / fixed, no more issues. No idea why some have the wobble & others do not.
This is my first HD/cruiser coming from sport bikes. I push my RG pretty hard. I get the wobble for sure but I only remember it happening at higher speeds. The stock suspension is trash so I think that might be part of it.
