Man, my 2015 sounds better and better everyday It is a tough stance the EPA is taking with HD. But really tough on owners of these bikes. Modding is what most Harley owners expect and want to do. What do you do with your 2017 bike when you realize that a Smart car sounds tougher than your 107ci bike?

Slip ons are behind the cat and they probably won't bitch about installing theirs. Stamped for off road only and they probably wont touch it.

There is always aftermarket do what you want and work with an indy.

Oh absolutely. But honestly, who stops at slip ons? Voiding the warranty will push folks away from wanting to risk things for at least 2 years. INdy shops can take care of things, but now the new owner is out of pocket.

Heard about fines , and non epa **** over a year ago. Find a good indy, better off anyhow.....

It actually has been that way here in the SF Bay area for some time now. Dealers won't touch anything except factory parts.

Hell, manufacturers won't even ship to CA.

I was almost regretting my 16 when I seen the new skunk 17 RGS. I'm not now. I already gutted my cat put 2" fullsac baffles into the CVO slipon's. If that was a 17 my warranty would be void.

So going forward, what does this mean for dealer servicing of '16 and earlier bikes currently under factory warranty/esp with non-compliant performance mods?

For those without esp on our '16 and earlier bikes with non-compliant performance mods, would we still be able to buy an esp if the factory warranty is about to expire?
