Lighting Question
I'm sure it's been asked before, but I did a search with no luck so I'll ask again. I just installed a set of CD Ringz with tinted lenses on the bike, but it looks horrible against the stock, halogen headlight. Has anyone found a good matching LED headlight? Preferably just a bulb swap.

I had good luck with an LED bulb I got from Fuel Moto. It provided much more light than the standard bulb my 2011 RK had. Ultimately, I went with a Daymaker Reflector headlight that I like a little better. That said, that LED replacement bulb punches well above it's weight. I should not that my headlight is my only light, I removed the aux lamps.

As mentioned, they are out there. However, they will not project light outward or to the side in a beam pattern that is truly beneficial. A lot has to do with the design of the reflector. That is why the Mo Co has two different Daymakers to choose from.

My Harley Daymaker Reflector LED is a perfect match to my CD Dynamic Ringz. I should note that I have clear lenses on the ringz, not smoke. It puts out more light than the stock halogen, and I'm also a single light setup. It's not just a bulb swap, but it's pretty simple if you get the harness with it. I got mine online from Cutter HD, which is now BoardTracker HD. Is it more $ than the Trucklite? Yes. But it's a HD product, and it doesn't stick out like the TL does.

If you dont want to drop the money for a Daymaker or even a Trucklite, try the Fuel Moto LED bulb. I have 2 buddies that have them, one in a RG and one in a SG, and they are bright. Quite possibly brighter than the HD one. Definitely worth the money.
