I'm 6,3 and the stock windshield only comes to about my bottom lip. Really need something higher and/or something that'll send the air over me. Lookin at either Klock Works "Flare" or Long Ride Shields "Javelin"? Watcha think? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks
Im in same boat. I'm still looking for getter option myself but here is my experience so far. I'm 6'3" as well. Stock HD 10" was too short. I bought a 12" HD but not satisfied, I bought a 11.5" Klockwerks Flare, worked great for air flow over me...but the distortion of looking through it, drove me nuts, but it did drive air higher over me and passenger. After 20 miles, I took off and it is sitting in box in my garage. I have the HD 12" back on now and while it's better than stock 10, but I need a recurve to get wind higher over me. I'm currently looking to try Long Ride Shield in 11" or F4Customs is near me and they invited me to stop and fit a recurve for me.
I have a 10 inch Windvest, about the same height as stock but with a recurve, I am 5'11" and love it, feel the air movement but dont get blasted in the face, and bugs go right over my head, and quality product. even with dark smoke i can see the road at night. http://windvest.com
I like my LRS Javelin, I look over, not a good buy if you wanna look thru - could trigger an acid trip flashback with all the distortion. I'm 6'4" I believe I got an 8.5" but as advised measure
