Looking at a set of these (Part number: 71400105) - $120. Wow.
I have some ground LEDs I was hoping to hook up (and possibly some other electrical goodies eventually), and I'd like to keep the clean button look. I'd rather not drill into my engine shield if I don't have to to put a rocker switch.
I haven't found any aftermarket buttons or switches that fit in these holes. I even bought one of these hoping it'd work. No dice. The 2013 and older had bigger button holes.
Has anyone found a way around paying the $120 for a few buttons?
i think you answered your own question, quote, (and possibly some other electrical goodies eventually) this way you would have a couple extra, also one one of the switches is for 2amp and the other is higher amp like for heated gear or possibly passing lamps in the future or air ride ect..
You could install a switch in the lower part of the inner fairing left side similar to the lighter socket on right side

Yeah...I found it from a random harley shop for like $80 the other day...I might do that. If I was willing to spend $25 on one switch, then $80 for 3 (or two) isn't too bad. Especially if I'm getting exactly what I want.

If you have a FCM, KEL or KSL model, you don't need the complete switch assembly, just the individual switch & switch cap. The lighted Aux switch is P/N 71400044 (Index item 40, page 139 of 2014 Parts Manual 99456-14A. I believe the switch cost is around $16?
KB, KP & KR models will probably need the switch assembly P/N 69200172 (don't know the price). If you need the Accessories Break-out Harness, P/N 69200722 it's less than $25.

Good Luck
I'm not sure if I have one of these models? If its in the vin, its a KRM.
I was originally planning on doing this. Until I saw the part number...but now I'm still debating if I want to pay or not...
