decatted head pipe smell

I'm getting a weird smell after I had my decatted head pipe installed. Kind of a burning plastic/electrical smell. Everything looks like it's installed correctly and it is not an exhaust leak. Maybe residue from the cat removal or the welding?
Any thoughts would be appreciated....thanks! Got it on ebay from "hd headers"

Double/triple check the o2 sensors and make sure they are not hitting the pipes.

I think they toss a coat of high heat paint on them probably what you are smelling burning off

Heat paint or anti-seize (from O2 sensors) burning off.

My pipes from HD Headers were not painted, just a nice clean weld from where they removed the cat. I also used never-seize on the upper threads, no smell from that.
