The crotch cooler by Capt Itch works a lot better. Friends of mine have taken off those plastic harley deflectors and put on the crotch cooler.

My wife and I had the same problem, I have the 2016 RG, so I removed the stock header and put the Fuel Moto Jackpot 2-1-2 header on, CVO slip ons and the Vance and Hines FP3 to tune it. It is better for my wife, not noticeable when moving, but still warm at Stops, but better then before. Hope this helps
