I think your FOS. I'm 6'1 and on the stock as well as my hammock seat fit is perfect remarkably. I could be mistaken i ride a 15 RGS but well the 16 is pretty much the same layout. HD got it right on these bars if you are not an NBA center or a midget.

Yeah... I think you're FOS too. Those bars don't fit me either. And he's talking RGU bars not RG/S bars...

You must have shoulders shaped like a girl since you rode a sporty all that time and thought it was "awesome".

Stock bars on 15 RG, I have them rolled up and still don't like the angle. I just bought some 13" Road 6 Custom bars. Hopefully I will be better off.

FYI I'm 6' with lowered police seat.

Had the same bars on my 2016 RGU and 2017 RGU. They are great not a thing wrong with them.

RGS bars. 9" RGU bars 11"

I have an RGS. Rolled mine forward. Still didn't make it good enough. The wrist angle was too much. Had a rental RGU. Yes taller. Same bad wrist angle. Height was irrelevant. It was that bad wrist angle.

I switched to Factory 47 12" signature bars. I'm 5' 10".

The idea that everyone will be happy with any one motorcycle is just ridiculous. I have bad wrists to begin with. If they were normal. Maybe the stock bars would be ok. There's a lot of factors that make them good or bad for any one person

The pullback is a function of the fixed fairing design. Since the fairing doesn't move there has to be clearance for the bars to swing. I love the way these bikes look more than the street or electra glides, but I prefer actually riding my electra glide.

This.

The pullback angle of the RG bars are terrible. All you guys riding Street Glides/Limiteds/etc are comparing apples to oranges when you say the bars are fine. Pulling the pin and rolling the bars forward does nothing for the wrist angle.

I switched to Yaffe 12" Monkey Bars. They're slightly higher than the stock 11" bars, but the wrist angle is natural now.

As mentioned earlier, it's not an expensive fix other than the cost of the bars. It's a pretty straight forward change, and on the 16's & 17's you don't need to disassemble the TBW plug - it's smaller and fits thru the holes.

I also pulled the pin out of the base and rolled mine up a little. Then mounted my mirrors on opposite sides and underneath.

Actually pretty comfortable for me, though I'm only 5'10. And I've never ridden one with say 12 or 14" bars... I'd like to though.
