Try this: go to the AFR table, change all 14.? to 14.0.Ride and check temperature. I think You will find it cooler and more responsive. If not You can change it back.

Sounds like a good idea, but at this time I don't know how to do that.
I spent all day auto tuning 122 miles, all conditions.was in the mid 80s Mi stile. I got a good one this time, runs and idles smooth like the V&H map. I'm happy I got the head temps down around 12 deg at all speeds. 20 deg would had been perfect but I will take this and be happy.
Head temps will be the hottest during autotune because You are running with an AFR of 14.7.After You reprogram the ecm and create a new tune ,You will find the head temps lower because You are running an AFR of about 14.4.Yes, the .3 makes and difference in operating temperature. That's why I suggest a 14.0 AFR.If You have never looked at the available tables in the FP3.You can scan through them.No need to change any.Just get familiar with what is there.Adjusting speedometer is a nice plus.

All the head temps I have given are from completed maps.
I don't think I need the temps lower for Michigan. V&H said the mid 270s was fine for cruising speeds and I have it at 258 to 263 now. So I'm assuming I'm good to go.
My son has a 16 Slim with the V&H map. He has about 3500 miles on her and it runs good. Yesterday we both hooked up FP3 3 on the bars so we can watch head Temps. We was both about the same at any cruising speed but when we got into slow traffic and stop lights has got much hotter than mine. I was running around 290 he was running about 3 20. We stopped and let our bikes Idol for about 5 minutes mine got up to 305 his got up to 338. So tomorrow he is going to auto tune his bike to try to bring down the low RPM head Temps. I would have to say I'm a little cautious about Vance & Hines Maps if you are concerned about high Temps in the motor. I will update.
